GIA Certification

When purchasing estate jewelry, knowledge and integrity are of the utmost importance in assessing the authenticity and value of an item. This is why a GIA-certified appraisal is included with select pieces of jewelry and why LM Estate Jewelry includes this documentation as part of select estate jewelry purchases.*

Select pieces of LM Estate Jewelry come with a GIA-certified Insurance Appraisal Document. This documentation ensures the highest standard of reliability, consistency and integrity in an honest and unbiased report, and is completed based on a stringent assessment of each individual piece. All LM Estate Jewelry appraisals are completed by Darryl Mackley, Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America, and include a hands-on evaluation and assessment using state-of-the-art methods. Analysis includes detailed descriptions of the item, a retail replacement value, and stone grading, where applicable.
